Suzy goes to Cambodia on sunday....

I'm off to visit Siem Reap and Angkor Wat this Sunday. I've been to Cambodia before, but only ever to Phnom Penh although they were short visits. Still, i found the people fascinating, so when the chance came up for a short break in Siem Reap, I jumped.

Now, Angkor Wat isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but think - these relics are not going to be around forever. I am most certainly fortunate that some of them still are. I only feel sad for future generations that will never have the chance. Kinda reminds me of the Louvre Museum guide who told us that La Gioconda..... better known as the Mona Lisa has but several hundred years of life more before she crumbles to ash. Sad thought eh? Anyway - more about Cambodia when I'm back :)

Sure, we're a little early, but since lil ol' Suzy will be in Cambodia this coming week, we thought we'd celebrate. Happy "whatever/whichever birthday your heart desires" dearie! Vishnu C is a legend

Dear readers,

I know some of you have dramas with your PPS coordinators - I have to say I'm lucky I don't have that same problem.

Vishnu deserves a free plug here - cause he's very good, knows my favourite seats, knows my favourite flights on a given route and is just a plain solid dependable and knowledgeable SQ boy. I am truly lucky to have him handling some of my travel stuff. I am, however, even luckier that I can also call him a friend. :)

Mamma Mia! The movie

Pierce Brosnan has agreed to star alongside Meryl Streep in the screen version of the smash musical Mamma Mia!.

I for one CANNOT wait.

Mamma Mia! is my all time favourite musical about a girl who's getting married, but has Three possible fathers- a fact she gleaned from her mother's diary. She then goes and invites all three of them to her wedding.

Featuring all the hits you and I have known - this musical brings back memories. Watch it if you ever get the chance :)

Diet..........crashed

You know how quickly a girl's mind can change?

Dug up some cereal, went out to buy some cold low fat milk..... poured it all into a bowl. Didn't like the look of it. Got up, started car, went out again to San Francisco Coffee to get a muffin. Buy muffin... take away... someone comes over with Dominos (copious quantities).... ditch muffin, ditch cereal and consume 3.55 gazillion calories in Hawaiian style pizza, of which all is pure grease. Burp.....

Aunty Estee! how la... gonna end up being flabulous.. not fabulous :(

Typical Malaysian Behaviour............

Tolong Jangan Cabut Kepala (Semua Jenis udang) - Don't pull the heads off (All types of prawns).......

At the fresh prawns section at the Tesco's in Puchong.

See, you select your prawns and send them off to be weighed - and that determines the price you pay. Now some crafty chaps (or lasses) have obviously been yanking the heads off before presenting the prawns for weighing.

Shame on you. Buat Malu negara!

PPS club changes

It had to come one day - but our beloved PPS club is changing the rules, and may well be so difficult to attain that numbers are going to be seriously cut. It's sad, and very disappointing for us fans of Singapore Airlines.
