Dinner @ Estee's boudoir featuring Madame Ivy!

IMG_0175

The lovely Estee cooked us a splendid dinner of nasi lemak at her place last night. Superblah.... She has a knack for that kind of thing. The girls and I enjoyed ourselves much last night.

Then we had the Mystical Madame Ivy, assisted by Mistress Ully, give Dita, Estee and Me tarot card readings. She's pretty good at it I tell you ;)

A little wine to give us enough energy for a reading. Stunning backdrop too!

Mei Hua Mei Hua!

Had the girls over yesterday for some tea and dinner. *Yak yak yak!* as only girls can do.

Cooked them some fish (I hope they are still alive today) :)

Ah *ying* eating ice cream
Ah ying eating ice cream

We then went out to Karaoke! Yeah!

With Ivy around to help us deciper the chinese characters..... we had old mandarin favourites (no, we're not THAT old) from yesteryear like Mei Hua, Wang Pu Liao and others to sing. Whee!

Had to wait a little to get our room though:

Girls night out :)

Dear blog (and gang)

Sorry for the lack of updates - been busy running all over the place, but have now found the time to put together a post :)

Anyway,

Thank you Emmy for organising such a nice lil' outing last weekend for the girls at the office. Very much appreciated *muaks!* xxx. Was great fun, and something we ought to do again. Them boys have too much fun on friday evening I can tell you :) Time for the gurls to let their hair down too I say!

Music and Lyrics :) swoon

Whilst on my travels I had the chance to watch music and lyrics on board one of my flights. I have to say, I adore that film. It's way too camp, funny - yet manages to remain reasonably stimulating mentally. Thorougly crass at times, I still found it in my heart to forgive these as it's just got such nice warm huggy feelings. Yeah, it's a girl flick. Macho types need not apply. As a consequence, the two big tracks in the film are now very much faves of mine. You tube videos and lyrics included :)

Pop! Goes my heart! (Hugh Grant looks cute here :P)

Way back into Love

Suzy's back

Have just gotten back from a whirlwind trip that saw me in Singapore four times, the philippines twice, and Australia - all in one week. As usual, it was a good trip, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good to catch up again with Sze Wen, Ivan, Hennie, Slamet, Keith. Was also good to meet up with Jacelyn, Ernie and Khoa for the first time.

Anyway, this girl went shopping. I've always been a big fan of shopping on Bridge Road. They've got all these nice factory outlets. Also paid a visit to the other factory outlet joint, DFO, in Moorabbin, as well as the customary visit to Southland.

Pics to come soon! I can't wait to go back to Melbourne next month :)

Greetings from India!

Sorry I haven't been updating this, as it's been hard doing it whilst on the road. Next week though, should provide a small respite, as there's 3 whole days of bank holiday to savour.

Anyway, a little bit about where I am now. I'm in a town called Guntur, in the Andhra Pradesh region of India - maybe 400km from Chennai and 300 ish from Hyderabad. Guntur is full of stark contrasts for me. I'm staying in this palatial mansion, and yet, just outside the doors is a situation of destitution. Abject poverty rules here, and it does not get more apparent than in India. This will be a short trip for me. I go home tomorrow night to some well earned rest, some more salsa, and just a good weekend in general. Till then :) xxxx

Oh yeah.... happy birthday unca CGK! muaks muaks!

Suzy goes to Manila today

Well - slightly hurrah here. Will be a short-ish trip, back on Thursday.

More importantly, I'm gonna fly with Hennie today! Hurrah!

It's been a crazy last few days, we had meetings in the Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur from Monday to Wednesday, an off-site team building event in Pangkor from Thursday to yesterday, and here i am, off to Manila now like I've got no home. Lol......

Sorry for the lack of updates..... it's been crazy!

Suzy Fails Salsa :(

Oh well - I gave it my best shot, but wasn't good enough to make it to the next level, so I'm going to go back and try again, practise harder. It's not easy, but I'll get there :)
